Famed wolf dies on highway

The female alpha wolf famed as an image on the town’s new hybrid buses was killed by a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway Monday.
The impressive five-year-old leader of the Bow Valley pack was black with a grizzled jawline and gray flecking on her chest. She had a litter of pups born this spring. [more]
