Nine hundred dollars, (I know, only?) gets you the worlds cleanest keyboard. Great for popular coffee shops I guess, or ultra clean electronic rooms (chip makers). But $900? I'd be okay with just running it through the dishwasher at the end of the day. Yes you can do that, no soap though.
ObamaCare may not work. This is sad, because Americans need a better deal.
Former Clinton Labor Secretary and current Obama economic adviser Robert Reich believes healthcare legislation currently being debated on Capitol Hill "won't offer most Americans any appreciable decline in the cost of their health insurance nor clear improvement in the efficiency or quality of the health care they receive."
Well well, what a fine mess we have now. President Obama and the Democrats now have the power to push a UN tax.
A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States.
The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.
The legislation would commit the U.S. to spending 0.7 percent of gross national product on foreign aid, which amounts to a phenomenal 13-year total of $845 billion over and above what the U.S. already spends.
When I first read about this idea (in a science fiction book) I loved it. Not that I'd ever want to go to the moon, but the idea in itself is so intriguing. Fancy being able to send material up into space, without needing to use a rocket or similar space craft. Just send it up. And now apparently, people are working on making the dream come true. The other day I read about it in this article. Then the day after, I found that someone actually had succeeded in the competition, not in sending anything to the moon. More about it here.
We live in scary times, but this sort of thing helps make up for it to some extent.

Well well, this is a fine mess. President Obama and his cronies have been attacking FOX for almost a year now. However, it now appears that there is value in showing up on FOX to get their message across. Strange business this political season.
Just how bad for Obama were Tuesday's election results? So bad White House senior adviser David Axelrod went on Fox News Wednesday to try and spin it?
In case you've forgotten, this is about two weeks after Axelrod told ABC's George Stephanopoulos, "[T]hey're not really a news station."
Possibly one of the best movie series of all time. It still is great today as it keeps the attention of my kids, ages 13 and 7. They both love the series and I don't blame them, the movies are awesome.
